Road Trippin' - Seattle Marathon
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend! We decided to do something a little different this year and I'm hoping to make it a new tradition.
Instead of joining the hoards of people at Black Friday sales and getting trampled over a shirt, we hopped in the car with one of my besties and my brother-in-law and drove to Seattle for the Seattle Marathon. I successfully completed my first half marathon at 2:13! I know it's not great, but it's a start and I worked really hard to get there.
Enough about me...
While we were over there we did some shopping and sight-seeing. As usually we meandered through Pike St. and hit up all the stores downtown. But to switch it up again we decided to head over to the Pacific Science Center (I think) by the Space Needle to see the King Tut exhibit. Well with our luck, the Tut exhibit was full until later that night and we didn't want to wait. Instead, we decided to check out the Chihuly exhibit and I'm so glad we did! It was beautiful, unique and captured my imagination. What an amazing artist. So glad King Tut was full.
If I had my way, the title of this blog would be changing to "Stuck in Seattle" but that's not likely to happen any time soon. Click the link below to see some pics of the exhibit.
Happy Trails!
