Father’s Day at Crafted Taphouse

Hope everyone is having (or had) a wonderful Father’s Day!

This year was a little different for us in that I took my dad out to lunch rather than doing a big family dinner. Why? Because Crafted Taphouse is finally open!

My parents and I decided to check it out – one way or another I planned to make it there for opening day. My mom an I both got salads and both we’re delicious. Mine was the “Magic Kingdom” and consisted of baby spinach, arugula, dried apricots, cranberries, and Brie cheese.

My dad got the Tin Lizzie burger and it was fantastic! Just the right amount of pink, really juicy and the bun was a tasty roll.

The atmosphere was light, fun and very modern. Their beer menu (40 on tap) was displayed on an iPad where you could see options based on the type of beer. The decor made me think of if Fire and the Manito Taphouse had a hipster-Idahoan baby. Very industrial and trendy.

Everyone there was friendly and eager to answer our questions – overall a great experience. I can’t wait to go back.
