Hayden Days July 27 & 28

Hayden days is this weekend! As a former Hayden-er (Haydenite?) this event is close to my heart (awwww). After all, I was Little Miss Hayden in first grade. No kidding, you're in the presence of royalty. Just kidding.  But really. The events all kick-off on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Hayden City Park. This year's theme is "A Community that Cares." Don’t let superstion get in the way of your super weekend!

Just because it's Friday the 13th, that doesn't mean you have to go into hiding until midnight. Although I guess you can if you want. There's still plenty of fun to be had! Personally, we'll be chilling out at home tonight, as the Hayden Triathlon is tomorrow morning. I highly suggest coming to cheer on the competitors. It seems to get bigger every year. Local troops carry the flag for the annual 4th of July parade on Sherman Ave. It's that time of the week again, happy Friday!I hope everyone had a very happy and safe 4th of July. I know the celebration will continue on into the weekend for many.  The annual parade was a big hit as always, although I do think they need to work on some consistency for spacing between attractions.
